Suellen Kay Wood 74, of Lyons, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Born December 25, 1944 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Robert T. and Jeanne (Edwards) Spaulding. She worked for RCA and was a member of the American Legion Post #479 in Lyons. Surviving relatives include: her daughters, Debbie Jo Cullison and Roberta Lynn Pierce of Lyons; one son, David E. Jones of Lyons; one brother, Phillip Spaulding of Mooresville; two sisters, Rebecca Ann Shannon of Coatesville and Karen Sue Patterson of Greenwood; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Wood on June 30, 2005, two daughters, Lisa Jean Kline and Roni Sue King; one brother, Wallace Spaulding, one sister, Jeannie Spaulding and her parents. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Sandborn.
