Obituary

Wilma Mae Fields, 78, of Lyons, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born June 20, 1933 in Galesville, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of George Emil and Emma (Jacobs) Schwarzhoff.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Linton.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Linda R. McCracken (Jerry) of Bloomfield, Daniel R. Fields (Cindy) of Lyons, Pamela Ann Fields of Lyons, and Dawn R. Payne (Roy) of Manhattan, Kansas; grandchildren, Doug McCracken (Shonna) of Ellettsville, Jennifer McCracken of Indianapolis, Ida Fields of Lyons, Austin Clark of Manhattan, Kansas, and Brandon Payne of Manhattan, Kansas; and one great, granddaughter, Mabel Mae Fields.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dale Fields on January 7, 1987, three brothers, two sisters, and her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Linton, with Father Michael Madden officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel cemetery in rural Lyons.
Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Lyons where a Wake service is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Developmental Center.
