Wilma R. Eaton, 96, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Willow Crossing Nursing Facility in Columbus, Indiana.Wilma was born January 16, 1918 to John M. and Myrtle (Faucett) Underwood of Linton, Indiana.  She married Leslie J. "Bus" Eaton on March 12, 1938.She was preceded in death by her husband on February 15, 1999 and a son, James S. Eaton in 2012, her parents and siblings.She is survived by two sons, Jerry J. (Jo Ellen) Eaton of Columbus, Indiana and John F. Eaton of Solsberry, Indiana. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Wilma was a homemaker.  She attended Bloomfield First Christian Church.  She was a member and past Noble Grand of the Mary Rebekah Lodge #593 and the Order of Eastern Star.  She was also a member of the Better Homes Home Demonstration Club for over 50 years.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating.  Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.Public visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.Online condolences to the family are available at www.jenkinsfuneralhomes.com .
