William Dale Corwin, 97, of Bloomfield, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born June 26, 1918 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Hubert and Martha (Workman) Corwin.

He was an electronic technician for NSWC Crane and served his country in World War II with the united States Army. He was a member of the Bloomfield First Presbyterian Church, Lifetime member of American Legion Post # 196, and the Masonic Lodge #84.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Lois Irene (Goodwin) Corwin of Bloomfield, currently residing at Glenburn Home; one son, Ron Corwin of Bloomfield; daughter, Elaine Parsley (Jack) of Ellettsville; a brother, Jim Corwin of Bloomfield; and his grandchildren, Greg Parsley of Vincennes and Brent Parsley of Ellettsville.

he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Corwin, four sisters, Marjorie Minks, Louise Beasley, Betty Seibert and Dorothy Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
