Wanda Joan Stephen, 76, of Solsberry passed away at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday August 29, 2010 at the Bloomington Hospital
She was born January 7, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of John R. and Vivian (Ames) Osborne.
Wanda is retired from RCA in Bloomington where she worked as an inspector. She was a member of the Solsberry Order of Eastern Star # 547 and the Solsberry Christian Church.
Surviving Relatives include one daughter Pamela S. Wall (Charles) of Solsberry, one son Timothy W. Stephen (Kathy) of Bloomington. Four grandchildren; Christopher Reed of Solsberry, Josh Wall of Bloomington, Timothy W. Stephen II of North Carolina and Albert Stephen of Bloomington. Five great grandchildren, her brother A. Durand Osborne of Bloomington, brother-in-law Donald Hayes of Bloomington, sister-in-law Sharon Osborne of Linton, ½ brother Thomas Osborne of Creston, Iowa and ½ sister Cynthia Wolff of Omaha, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert G. Stephen, one brother Johnny Joe Osborne, one sister Geraldine V. Hayes and her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday August 31, 2010 and 11 A.M. Wednesday until the hour of service all at the Solsberry Christian Church.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday September 1, 2010 at the Solsberry Christian Church with Jim Weimer and Rev. Keevin Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
