Virginia C. Gray 91, of Lyons, passed away at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born February 14, 1918 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Thomas Royal and Sadie (Boyer) Barker.
She was a homemaker and also worked for the drug store in Worthington and for P.N. Hirsch in Linton.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Stanley D. Allen (Dixie G.) of Lyons; one daughter, Shirley Callis of Newburgh; four grandchildren and seven great, grandchildren; one cousin, Silas Boyer of Strosburg, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one newborn brother, and infant twins.
There will be no public funeral services. Interment will be in Pleasant Bethel cemetery north of Worthington.
