Rochelle A. Picou

Rochelle A. (Cain) Picou, 36, of Solsberry passed away at 3:45 P.M. on Friday December 21, 2007 at her residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Carrol L. "Buck" Cain and LeAnna K. (Miller) Cain of Solsberry. She is survived by her husband, Larry W. Picou, and their daughter, Kaitlyn A. Picou both of Solsberry, Indiana., and one brother Emery Cain & his wife Joy of Linton, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, LeAnna K. (Miller) Cain who passed away in April of 1989. She graduated from Eastern High School in 1990 and from Ivy Tech in 1992. She attended Indiana University. She had been employed at Indiana University as both a staff member and adjunct faculty member. She was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Bloomfield. Rochelle loved her husband and daughter with all of her heart and soul as they did her. Rochelle and Larry were true soul mates that could not bear to be apart from each other. There love was forever. Rochelle and Kaitlyn shared a very special mother/daughter relationship that was very deep. They were seldom ever apart from each other as they loved to spend time and do everything togeather. Rochelle had many friends who were very special to her as she was to them. She lived life to the fullest each day and tried to help as many people as she could. She never met a stranger. She always brought joy and fun to everything she did. Her smile would light up a room and her laugh was infectious. She will be deeply missed. People should choose to remember all of the good times that they shared with Rochelle as there were many. She would want you to celebrate her life with joy and enthusiasm, not sadness because that is how she chose to live her time on this earth. Friends may call from 2 to 6 P.M. on Monday December 24, 2007 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. A Memorial Funeral Mass at the Holy Name Catholic Church will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday January 3, 2007 with Father Michael Madden officiating. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Kaitlyn Picou College Fund at the I.U. Credit Union
