Rickey Lane Flynn, 57, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at his residence surrounded by family.
Born April 9, 1955 in Linton, he was the son of Johnny O. and Doris (Black) Flynn.
Rickey worked for Indiana University and was a member of the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include: his mother, Doris Gholson of Bloomfield; step father, Jack Gholson of Bloomfield; one brother, Timothy John Flynn of Springville; a niece, Stacy Flynn of Bloomington; and a great nephew, Elijah Flynn of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny O. Flynn on August 18, 2002.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Word of Life Fellowship Church, with Rev. Eugene Helms officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Walnut Grove cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday at Word of Life Fellowship Church, 4713 East State Road 54 Bloomfield, Indiana 47424. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
