Reva Nell Gallian of Bloomington passed away Wednesday morning, February 5 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington, IN. Born April 20, 1937, in Solsberry, IN, she was the daughter of Margaret E. Rollins (Gallian), James H. Gardner and Herschell E. Rollins. She was retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington where she worked as a clean room attendant and supervisor. She graduated from Solsberry High School and attended Ivy Tech in Bloomington. She was a passionate baker and was known affectionately as the Pie Lady.

She was preceded in death by her father James, her father Herschell and her mother Margaret. Two sisters, Shirley Blackmore and Donna Chaney and one brother, Michael Gardner.

She is survived by her three children Roberta (Bobbie) Hodges (Mike), Rebecca (Becky) Waldrip (Jim), George (Jody) Tindall (Mindi) all of Bloomington.

She had 8 Grandchildren - Wendy Arnold (Ryan), James (Jim) Hodges (Mia), Jennifer Elliott (Matthew), James (JayR) Robinson (Mandy), Stephanie Bishop (Michael), Michael Tindall, Cody Waldrip and Levi Waldrip.

10 Great grandchildren - Emily Brana (Michael), Devin Arnold, Cayden Arnold, Elijah Robinson, Chandler Robinson, Brayden Robinson, Ian Robinson, Austin Waldrip, Alexis Waldrip, Kalel Waldrip and Steven Bishop.

2 Great-great grandchildren – Anne Brana and Weston Robinson

There will no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Burgoon Church on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Reva was a strong supporter of The Monroe County Humane Association and The Bloomington Animal Shelter. In lieu of flowers or gifts the family asks that donations be made to those organizations in her name.
