Raymond Lee Emery, 79, of Middletown, Indiana passed away Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Clarebridge Assisted Living in Carmel, Indiana.
Born July 14, 1935 in Greene County, Indiana the son of Albert R. and Martha Agnes (Cole) Emery.
Raymond graduated from Scotland High School in 1954, he was a U.S. Army veteran, he married Ingrid on August 3, 1960 in Berlin, Germany. Raymond retired from General Motors/Delphi, and he loved farming.
Surviving relatives include his wife Ingrid G. Emery of Middletown, four children, Mike Emery of Bloomfield, Monica Emery Ehle of Anderson, Jerry Emery of Bloomfield and Jennifer Emery of Chesterfield, two grandchildren, Chelsea Ehle of Anderson and Raymond James "R.J." York of Chesterfield, two nephews Jeff Workman of Linton and Brad Workman of Odon, one special aunt, Doneva Gayle Cole of Bloomfield and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by one sister Carolyn Sue Webster, one brother Kenneth Eugene Emery and his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday December 28, 2014 and 12 Noon Monday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Scotland Cemetery.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Scotland Cemetery in Raymond's name, envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
