Randall Lee Wright, 61, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born October 7, 1957 in Bloomington, he was the son of Darrell and Sharon (Bays) Wright. Randy was self employed and loved being outdoors cutting wood and working the land. He enjoyed riding his tractor, playing cards, listening to country music, fishing and having a cold drink and talking with his brother Fred for hours. Randy was a good hearted man who will be missed by many.

Surviving relatives include: his mother, Sharon Wright; two brothers, Fred Wright (Debbie) and Jeff Wright; sister, Loretta Sturgeon; three aunts, Debbie Wright, Violet Ritter and Sandy Ritter; Best Friends, Larry, Donna and Charlie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Wright, his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Dorothy Wright, maternal grandparents, Edgar and Alli (Ritter) Bays, two uncles, Junior Wright and Anthony Ritter, two aunts, Vernitta Hamm and Irene Spears and one brother, Tony Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Bruce Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Walkers Chapel cemetery near Kirksville.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the family of Randall Wright to assist with final expenses.
