Opal Mae Rowe, 91, of Bloomfield, passed away at 1:56 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus, Indiana.
Born December 30, 1922 in Vicksburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Oram and Marie (Bechtel) Dove.
She worked for RCA in Bloomington and attended Harvest Community Church.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Daniel Owens (Terri) of Bedford, Nina LaRue of Houston, Texas, Jerry Rowe (Connie) of Bloomfield and Brenda Kirk (Gary) of Columbus; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover F. Rowe on September 12, 1986, two sisters, one brother, her parents and one infant daughter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel cemetery in rural Lyons.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
