Mina Faye Barnes 68, of Linton formerly of Bloomfield, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 at her residence.Born May 4, 1945 in Linton, she was the daughter of Hilda Beryl Barnes.She was a 1963 graduate of Bloomfield High School where she was a member of the Home Economics Club.Surviving relatives include: one brother, Miles and Florence Barnes of Nashville; two nephews, Michael Dean Barnes and his friend Angie of Bedford and Daniel Ray and Rachel Barnes of Columbus; four great nephews, Ryan Barnes, Mason Barnes, Carson Barnes and Judson Barnes; and several maternal cousins of New Palestine.She was preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Beryl Barnes, maternal grandparents, Charles and Grace (Johnson) Barnes, uncles, Kermit Barnes, Urmil Barnes and Reece Barnes, aunts, Josephine Barnes and Myla Hash Barnes, her brother, Gary Dean Barnes and a sister-in-law, Betty Jean Anderson Barnes, wife of Gary Dean Barnes.Private Graveside services will be conducted at Solsberry cemetery.  Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.Online condolences to the family are available at www.jenkinsfuneralhomes.com .
