Mike "Rambo" Ramsey, 64, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born June 27, 1955 in Terre Haute, he was the son of Roy Joseph and Rose Ilene (Walters) Ramsey.

He was a yardman for Duke Energy in Edwardsport. He attended the United Methodist Church in Odon.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Donita (Newell) Ramsey of Bloomfield; his children, Christopher Michael Ramsey (Sara Ann) of Terre Haute and Shannon Nicole Ramsey (Steven Gossett) of Clinton; his stepchildren, Matthew Garrett and Samantha Garrett; grandchildren, Whitney Nicole Ramsey, Mikayla Nicole Hudgens and Matthew Stephen Ramsey; grandchildren He and Donita were raising as their own, Joseph Garrett, SaraRose Garrett Ramsey and Alexandria Dukes; siblings, Bill Ramsey of Shepardsville, Darlene Puller of New Goshen and Karen Sharrer of Shepardsville; close friends, Jeff Moore and Quincy May; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kay Jancek, one grandchild, Zachari E. Dukes Jr. and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Walnut Grove Church of God. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at Walnut Grove Church of God.
