Michaleine H. "Mikie" Chandler, 55, of Bloomfield passed away at 4:00 A.M. at her residence on Thursday December 3, 2009.
Born June 16, 1954 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Morton and Dorothy (McWhinney)Akins.
Mikie was an administrative Assistant and a homemaker, she was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Bloomington.
Surviving relatives include two children Travis Chandler of Bloomfield and Jessica Chandler of Bloomington. One grandson Austin Self-Chandler and one granddaughter Caylin Renee Chandler. Five Aunts Evelyn Grantz, Loretta Young, Patricia Weaver, Janice Patla and Lois Osterman all of Pennsylvania, and her mother Dorothy Akins of Bloomington. She also has many extended family members and friends.
Mikie was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Paul Chandler on November 17, 2009 and her father.
A photo view will start at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday December 12, 2009 and the Memorial service will start at 2:00 P.M. at the Faith Lutheran Church 2200 S. High Street Bloomington, Indiana 47401. Pastor Lawrence Mitchell will officiate.
