Martha Lou Haskett, 86, of Switz City passed away at 2:10 P.M. on Friday July 25, 2008 at her residence.
Born May 15, 1922, in the Park Community in Greene County, she was the daughter of William and Lou (Wade) Sparks.
She was a homemaker, member of the Park Sunshine Club for over 60 years, member of the Walnut Grove Church and attended Mansions in Heaven Church.
Survivors include: Husband of 69 years, Harley W. Haskett of Switz City, Indiana; One Son, Gene Haskett (Deborah) of Mooresville, NC; Two Daughters, Marylin Clayton(Don) of Linton, Indiana, Kay Frye (Ron) of Indianapolis, Indiana; 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Cornelia Street of Indianapolis, IN; Several Nieces and Nephews; 2 Sister-in-laws, Naomi Sparks of Bellaire, Ohio and Edna Sparks of Bloomfield, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, William and Lou Sparks; Brothers, Estel, Bernard and Gaylord Sparks and Grandson, Bradley Clayton.
Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday July 29, 2008 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfied, with Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
