Mae Hill, 88, of Bloomfield, passed away at 4:15 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born January 30, 1927 in Bad Ax, Michigan, she was the daughter of Milford Baker and Beulah (Short) Baker.
She was a homemaker and co owner of Hill's Feed and Grain with her husband Lavon. She was a member of Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include: her children, David Hill (Glenda) of Bloomfield, Wayne Hill (Pat) of New Palestine, Beverly Burris (Larry) of Owensburg; grandchildren, Stacey Hill (Ingrid) of Bloomfield, Stephanie Hill of Bloomfield, Cory Hill (Kimberly) of Bloomfield, Lisa Caito (Brian) of Indianapolis, Mendy Werne (Brian) of Indianapolis, Michael Burris (Lacey) of Olney, Illinois, Justin Burris (Courtney) of Solsberry, Clint Burris (Michelle) of Olney, Illinois, Kelly Cherry (John) of Rushville and Erin McDaniels (Frank) of Milroy; great grandchildren, Cade Hill, Conner Hill, Andrew Caito, Alex Caito, Jake Werne, Luke Werne, Cylvey Burris, Cy Burris, Bayden Burris, Peyton Burris, Carson Burris, Adalyn Hill, Cydney Reed, Cloey Reed, Kyle McDaniels and Kate McDaniels; and one brother, Bill Baker of Columbus, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavon Hill on June 30, 2011 and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Joshua Riggins officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
