Loren Ray Michael 66, of Bloomfield, passed away Thursday February 9, 2006 at 12:50 a.m. at his residence in Bloomfield.
Born July 5, 1939 in Greene County, he was the son of Charles and Goldie (Heaton) Michael.
He worked for Russ's Tire Center & managed Sharkey Tire in Bloomfield for a combined 36 years. He was also employed by the Greene County Highway Department for 8 years before retiring. He attended the Bloomfield First Christian Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Dollie (Harris) Michael of Bloomfield; two sons, Warren and his wife Mary Michael and Charley and his wife Katrina Michael both of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Jane, and Aaron Michael all of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 11, 2006 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and Mr. Arnold Graves officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 1 hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
