Lana Sue (Guthrie) Graf, 60, of Switz City passed away at 4:16 pm on Saturday May 24, 2008 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. She passed away on her 34th wedding anniversary.
Born November 13, 1947 in Linton, Indiana she was the daughter of Ray & Ima Jean (Dinkins) Guthrie.
Lana worked for contractors at Crane in the communications and message center unitl she was stricken with this horrible disease in October. God had blessed her with artistic talents which she shared with others in her oil on canvas and ceramic figure paintings. She had such strong faith that radiated to all those around her. She is at home with her beloved Savior now.
Lana was a member of the Newberry Progressive Club.
Surviving relatives include her husband Steve Graf of Switz City, Indiana. They were married on May 24, 1974. 1 son Jake & his wife Misty Graf of Bloomfield, Indiana. 4 grandchildren Taylor, Felicity, Baylin, & Laytin Graf. 1 brother Michael Guthrie of Bloomington, Indiana. 1 sister Teresa Guthrie also of Bloomington.
Lana was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son Sam Graf.
There will be no public visitation. A Graveside service will be at 2:00pm Tuesday JUNE 3, 2008 at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons, Indiana with Rev. Arlen Pope & Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
In Lieu of Flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Lana's name.
