Julia D. Manues 60, of Owensburg, passed away at 5:36 a.m. on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family.

Born April 14, 1957 in Worthington, she was the daughter of Jess and Betty (Shepard) Lawson.

Julia was self employed with a house cleaning business.

Surviving relatives include: her husband, David Grindle of Owensburg; one son, Caleb Manues of Owensburg; three step children, Jessica Grindle of Saltillo, Michael Grindle of Frederiskburg, and Megan Grindle of Salem; one brother, Bruce Lawson of Freedom; one sister, Rosalind Carter of Reelsville; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rick Shepard and Tony Lawson, one sister, Sheila Batchelor and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Rick Clayton officiating.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
