Jessie M. Helms, 93, of Lyons and formerly of Bloomfield passed away Thursday August 25, 2005 at Lyons Health & Living Center.
Born February 15, 1912 in Greene County she was the daughter of Allen and Joy (Cox) Bland.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal church.
Survivors include: one son, Hubert Carl Helms of Bloomington; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl F. Helms on August 20, 1997, and two brothers, Raymond and Clyde Bland.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday August 29, 2005 at Jenkins & Sons funeral home Bloomfield. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 12 Noon until the hour of services on Monday at the funeral home.
