Janette Terrell, 96, of Switz City passed away Friday February 8, 2013 at Lyons Health & Living Center.
Born December 5, 1916 in Switz City, Indiana the daughter of Fred A. and Blanch (Benjamin) Stantz.
Janette was retired as the Assistant Branch Manager of Peoples Trust, Switz City Branch. She was a member of the Switz City Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include her son, Michael Terrell of Switz City, four grandchildren, Jay (Sherri) Terrell of Switz City, Corey (Victoria) Terrell of Louisville, Kentucky, Sam (Daria) Terrell of Charlestown, Indiana and Jennifer Terrell of Darlington, Indiana. She has five great grandchildren, Brittany, Jaron, Preston, Kailyn and Maxwell, one great great granddaughter Addison.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Max Terrell on August 13, 1981, one son Danny Terrell, one sister Kathleen Latier and her parents.
Friends may call at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday and 12:30 Monday until the hour of service.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons with Rev. Chris Gehring officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers Janette wanted all donations to be made to her Great Grand-children's education fund in care of Michael Terrell.
