James Edward Todd 66, of Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday December 6, 2005 at 4:18 p.m. at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born December 26, 1938 in Springville, Indiana, he was the son of Raymond Richard and Artie Lou (Godsey) Todd.
He was Co Owner and operator of Hoosier Insurance Company in Bloomfield. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a Member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, Bloomfield Masonic Lodge, Bloomfield Rotary, and Bloomfield American Legion.
Survivors include: his wife, Phyllis J. (Heaton) Todd of Bloomfield; three sons, Doug and his wife Tina of Carmel, Danny and his wife Kim of Bloomfield, and Dusty Todd of Bloomfield; five grandchildren, Ashley, Noah, Alyvia, Alley, and Mitch; one step-grandchild, Jarred Myers; his mother, Artie L. Workman of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Raymond Richard Todd.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery where military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 196 Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
