James Euell Forrester Conley, 88, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday September 16, 2015 at his residence.
Born September 9, 1927 in Robley, Virginia the son of Eugene and Mary Frances (Forrester) Conley.
James retired from Crane as the Transportation Director for the Department of Defense, he was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield, Bloomfield American Legion, Bloomfield Lions Club and the Linton Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Conley of Bloomfield, his children, James (Beth) Conley Jr., Lee Conley, Betty Jane (Preston) Bryant all of Virginia, Ann (Stace) Reed of Seymour, Richard (Kristie) Bladen of Bloomfield, Paul (Lisa) Conley of California and Sally (Michael) Gaughan of Las Vegas, Nevada, seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield with Father Joseph Erbacher officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
