James L. Boyd Sr.'s Obituary
James L. Boyd, Sr., 74, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday January 5, 2017 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born August 16, 1942 in Bloomfield, Indiana the son of Harlin and Gladys (Kiser) Boyd.
James was retired from the U.S. Army, he served during the Vietnam War.
Surviving relatives include his children, Tola D. Laforce of Bloomfield, James L. Boyd, Jr., of Linton, Kimberly Boyd Resler of Worthington, he has five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one brother, Harlan Boyd of Indianapolis and three sisters, Jeanett Lash of Arizona, Doris Michael of Newark and Mary Piacenti of Arizona.
James was preceded in death by his wife, June Marie Boyd on September 8, 2005 and his parents.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
