Jackie R. Steele, 82, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Lyons Health & Living Center.

Born July 26, 1933 in Linton, Indiana the son of Guy R. and Ruth (Lehman) Steele.

Jackie retired from Public Service in 1996 as a lineman and was a member of the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield.

He is survived by his wife Nedra Steele, his children, Kim Schulte, Kyla (Bruce) Isenogle all of Bloomfield, Shane (Tracy) Hamiln of Birmingham, Alabama; his eight grandchildren, Nathan (Cindy) Schulte, Neil (Sharlene McGovern) Schulte, Jacob (Bonny) Isenogle, Jennifer Isenogle, Jessica Hamlin, Makayla Hamlin, Ezekiel Hamlin and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Brown. He has nine great grandchildren, one brother Dick (Marilyn) Steele of Lyons and one sister, Loretta (Paul) Johnson of Linton.

He was preceded in death by a grandson Zechariah Hamlin and his parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday at the Faith Christian Church, and 10 A.M. Saturday until the hour of service at the Church.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield with Shane Hamlin and Rev. Timothy Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
