Jackie D. Minks' Obituary
Jackie D. Minks, 80, of Bloomfield passed away Monday May 30, 2016.
Born May 3, 1936 in Greene County, Indiana the son of Lee and Ruth (Ellett) Minks.
Jack was a truck driver for Schneider Transport, he was retired, he loved watching sports, war movies, history documentaries and loafing at the Gulf station.
Surviving relatives include his wife Connie Minks of Bloomfield, his children, Julie (Bryan) Criger of Bloomfield and Chad Minks of Bloomington, he has two grandchildren, Kyle Criger and Kaylyn Criger, one brother, Ronald "Gene" (Donna) Minks of Martinsville and several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by two brothers, Dallas Minks, Bob Minks and his parents.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. Sunday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloonmfield.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Bill Talbot and Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
