Jack Dean Lawson, Sr. 75, of Washington formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
Born February 20, 1937 in Bloomington, he was the son of Charles and Lena (Arnold) Lawson.
He worked in a stone mill as a gain saw operator.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Donna Goad of Bloomfield; two sons, Jack Lawson Jr. of Bloomfield and John Lawson of Jasper; his former wife, Theda Lawson of Bloomfield; brothers, Robert Lawson of West Virginia and Steve Lawson of Bloomington; one sister, Ruth Ann Mazura of Bloomington; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanette Sue Williams, an infant son and his parents.
No public services or visitation are planned. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
