Imogene Terrell

Imogene Terrell of Bloomfield, passed away January 29, 2017. Born May 8, 1923 in Greene County, she was the daughter of John and Freida (Stone) Richardson. On September 28, 1940 she married James Terrell who preceded her in death October 16, 2001. She worked at the Bloomfield Woolen Mill and NSWC Crane. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Rebekah Lodge, and a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 196. Prior to her illness, she loved to sew, make jelly, and canning vegetables from Jim’s garden. She was an avid dog lover. Surviving relatives include: her sons Gary Terrell of Sullivan, Jack (Beth) Terrell of Bloomfield; one daughter, Sally (Don) Markam of Bloomfield; ten grandchildren; Rick (Shelley) Terrell, Dublin, OH; Robin Terrell, Tipp City, OH; Rob (Trisha) Weddle, Jim Weddle, Veronica Simpson, Max (Tammy) Hostettler, Angie (Tracy) Barlow all of Bloomfield, Byron (Felicia) Hostettler of Evansville, William (Kelly) Terrell and Riley Terrell of Bloomfield. Fifteen great-grandchildren, seven great, great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; and four step great, great-grandchildren. One brother Kenny (Ruth) Richardson of Bloomington, one sister-in-law Ruth Richardson of Linton, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James, a daughter Pam Goad, two brothers, Eldon Richardson and James Richardson, two sisters Eleanor Justice and Esther Cecil, one infant sister, one step-grandson, Cody and her parents. Funeral service will be conducted at the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, 60 W. Main Street, Bloomfield on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Talbott and Leroy Barnhill officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Bloomfield, IN. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the United Methodist Church and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
