Helen Goskowicz, 82, of Bloomfield, Indiana passed away Monday May 31, 2010 at the Glenburn Home in Linton, Indiana.
She was born May 25, 1928 in Knowlton, Wisconsin to Blaze Javorek and Caroline (Sutrer) Javorek. She was the 6th child of 11 born to the Javorek's.
Helen worked as a secretary during her working years. After her marriage she lived in Milwaukee Wisconsin, Rochelle Illinois, Toleson Arizona, Downers Grove Illinois, and Bloomfield Indiana.
Helen is survived by her daughter Christine J. Larson (Robert) of Woodland Park, CO; two grandchildren Peter J. Larson (Jennifer) of East Jordon, MI; and Jeannie J. Ruzicka (John) of Colorado Springs, CO. Three great grandchildren Aeryn Larson, Matthew Ruzicka and Michael Ruzicka, two sisters Sylvia Gronski (Barney) and Jeanette Schoenfuss (Frank).
She was preceded in death by two brothers, six sisters and her parents.
Services will be at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield, Indiana on Tuesday June 8, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Michael Madden officiating, friends may call from 9 A.M. until the hour of service at the Church. Service will be at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Mosinee, Wisconsin on Friday June 11, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Grassl officiating. Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the hour of service at the Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery in Knowlton, Wisconsin. Everyone is invited back to the church for food & fellowship following the burial.
