Harold L. Umphenour, 80, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away at 3:36 a.m. on Wednesday October 19, 2005, at his residence in Greenwood, Indiana.
Born September 19, 1925, in Danville, Illinois, he was the son on Carl M. and Martha R. (Rehberg)Umphenour Sr.
He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of WWII. He was Superintendent for Pennwalt Corporation in Wyandotte, Michigan, a member of the Mineral United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 196 Bloomfield.
Survivors include: two daughters, Carol L. Umphenour of Greenwood, Donna J. Kelker of Greenwood; three brothers, Everett Umphenour, of Danville, Illinois, Charles Frederick Umphenour, Curtwood, Missouri, Barton Umphenour, Wapapello, Missouri, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Julia J. Umphenour who died April 2, 2002, two sisters and one grandson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday October 23, 2005 at Mineral United Methodist Church with Rev. Lloyd Swango and Rev. Ralph Roach officiating.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
