Gary Wayne Trusler, 62, of Bloomfield passed away at 9:20 P.M. on Monday May 3, 2010 at the Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood, Indiana.
Gary was born July 11, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of George and Norma (Harrell) Trusler.
He was retired from Crane and was and Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. Gary was a member of the Crane VFW, Indianapolis VFW # 908, AMVETS Post 2000, and the Bloomfield American Legion Post # 196. Surviving relatives include two brothers Rex Trusler and Max Trusler, two sisters Sandra Washington and Sharon White all of Indianapolis. His nieces and nephews Tim, Cheryl, Ronnie, Norma, Jenny, Janell and Aaron.
Gary was preceded in death by his Parents and one brother Ronnie Trusler.
Friends may call from 11 am until the hour of service on Thursday May 6, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday May 6, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Dave Wilde officiating followed by a Miltiary Service at the Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday May 7, 2010 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Bloomfield American Legion or the Crane VFW in care of Jenkins Funeral Home.
