Frances L. Hanson, 82, of Owensburg passed away at 7:50 P.M. on June 17, 2009 at the Bloomington Hospital.
Frances was born May 25, 1927 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Jack and Minnie (Merritt) White.
Frances was retired from RCA in Bloomington.
Surviving relatives include her Nephew and caregiver Ron Thomas and his wife Diana of Springville. One sister Mary Ashcraft of Highland, In. One brother-in-law Clifford Thomas of Owensburg, In. Niece Joyce Jones and husband Jim, nephew Jim Rollins and wife Patty, and other nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Lester W. "Wick" Hanson on November 21, 2002. Two sisters Jessie Thomas and Wilma Rollins and her parents.
There will be no public visitation.
Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday June 20, 2009 at Dishman Cemetery.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Dishman Cemetery in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
