Frances Marie (Tarwater) Creek, 74, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday March 23, 2013 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born July 20, 1938 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of John and Esta (Conner) Tarwater.
Frances was a legal secretary, a title insurance agent, owner and abstracter for Moomaw Abstract in Bloomfield, she was a member of the Bloomfield Eaastern Star and Bloomfield First Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include her son Wayne Edward Creek (Beverley) of Bloomfield, four grandchildren, Katie (Jesse) Felton, and Eric Richards all of Vincennes, Kaki (Chad) Colman of Terre Haute and Lindsey (Josh) Yake of Bloomfield, three great grandchildren and one sister Ruth Hamilton of Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Glen Creek on May 6, 1987, two brothers, one half brother and her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday and 12 noon on Thursday until the hour at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope and Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
In Lieu of flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the Frances M. Creek Scholarship Fund in care of Jenkins Funeral Home.
