Catherine J. (Katie) Eaton, 79, of Owensburg passed away at 3:05 A.M. Tuesday September 2, 2008 at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born December 27, 1928 in Wapakoneta, Ohio she was the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Haggard) Lechner.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Kentucky Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include one daughter Lois Davidson & husband John of Owensburg, Indiana. Two granddaughters Janelle Davidson and Audrey Davidson both of Owensburg, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles B. Eaton in 1982. One son Charles (Chuck) Eaton in 1973. Three brothers William Jacob Lechner, Thomas Lechner, & Carl Lechner. Two sisters Barbara Davis & Martha Jennings and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will be in Kentucky Ridge cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 1 hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
