Carolyn Jane Hash, 78, of Bloomfield, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born November 19, 1941 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Alston Wiley and Zella Viola (Woodall) Killian.

She worked for General Electric and was a member of the Bethany Christian Church and the Gethsemane Tabernacle in Bloomfield.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Michelle O'Rourke (Dennis) of Herford, Arizona; one son, Robert G. Hash of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Ryan O'Rourke, Tricia O'Rourke, Beau Hash, Breanna Summers, Christina Bixler, Jonathan Terneus, Benjamin McEwan and Melody Long; her great grandchildren, Christopher Bixler, Braxton Bixler, Oliver Bixler, Thea Bixler, Adyn James Terneus, Rayline Dowin and Tennessee Blue Dowin; sister, Phyllis Mefford of Oolitic and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hash, one son, Edward A. Hash, siblings, Luther E. Killian and Rosie Carmichael and her parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2019 at Prairie Chapel cemetery in Lyons.

Public visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
