Bill R. McKee, 82, of Lyons passed away at 8:08 P.M. Sunday September 5, 2010 at the Lyons Health and Living Center in Lyons, Indiana.
Born February 11, 1928 in Greene County, he was the son of Raymond and Mae (Grounds) Mckee.
Bill was a member of the Lyons Church of Christ and a retired farmer.
Surviving relatives include his wife Mary Martha (Greves) McKee of Lyons; two daughters, Jo Halt (Dave) and Dee Williams (Mike) both of Lyons; six grandchildren; Heather Madison (Travis), Troy Halt (Vicki), Holly Kirk (Dusty), Autumn Williams, April Settles (Matt) and Amber Swain (Larry). Five great grandchildren; Gracie Madison, Grant Madison, Hannah Halt, Hunter Halt and Molly Settles. One sister, Reba Gillan of Linton, one brother-in-law Charles Greves (Phyllis).
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and two brother-in-laws, Bob Gillan and Glen Sparks and one sister-in-law Louise Sparks.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday September 8, 2010 and 9 A.M. until the hour Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 9, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons with Brother Mike Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
