Betty Ann Hudson's Obituary
Betty Ann Hudson, 87, of Terre Haute, formerly of Owensburg, passed away on March 15, 2016 at Terre Haute Union Hospital.
Born December 25, 1928 in Horse Cave, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James and Beulah (Jewell) Caudell.
She married Burl Hudson on December 25, 1948.
She was a homemaker who was dedicated to raising her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and caring for her pet cat. Always strongly proud of her childhood Kentucky roots, she remained an avid fan of the University of Kentucky basketball team. She remained a member of the Solsberry Chapter # 547 of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.
Survivors include her three sons, Tony Hudson of Cartersville, Georgia, Timothy Hudson of Terre Haute, and Trent Hudson of Terre Haute; grandson, Todd Hudson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; granddaughter, Traci (Hudson) Rusek of Sarasota, Florida; and great-grandchildren, Chloe and Kaden Rusek of Sarasota, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, her three brothers, Herbert Caudell, John Thomas Caudell and Grady Caudell; and her sister, Lottie (Caudell) Jackson.
Graveside services will be conducted at Owensburg Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2016, with Rev. Jay Collins officiating.
Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
