Devin Riley George

Devin Riley George 17, of Owensburg, passed away at 1:36 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 at his residence.

Born January 10, 1996 in Bedford, he was the son of Kirby and Jennifer (Weimer) George.

Devin was a Junior at Eastern-Greene High School and attended Solsberry Christian Church.

Surviving relatives include: his parents, Kirby and Jennifer George of Owensburg; one sister, Kelsey George of Owensburg; one brother, Mason George of Owensburg; his paternal grandmother, Marilyn George of Owensburg; maternal granparents, James and Janet Weimer of Solsberry; his aunt, Jill Weimer of Solsberry; two uncles, Kerry and Coleen George of Owensburg and Ed Crohn of Stanford; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bob George and one aunt, Kristy Crohn.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Solsberry Christian Church, with Rev. Don Thie officiating. Interment will follow in Owensburg cemetery.

Public visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 1 hour prior to services Friday at the Solsberry Christian Church. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Owensburg cemetery.
