Audrey Mae Bennett, 99, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday January 23, 2013 at Parkwood Healthcare Center in Lebanon, Indiana.

Born October 31, 1913 in Owensburg, Indiana the daughter of Virgil and Nora (Strosnider) Miller.

Audrey was raised in Owensburg, Indiana and graduated from Switz City High School in 1930. After graduation, Audrey moved to Indianapolis and worked as a screw machine operator at E.C. Adkins, followed by a mail sorter at Gannett Publishing. Audrey loved gardening, flowers, and yard work.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Lisa (David) Adkins, and her great grandchildren Cortney Adkins and Jeff Adkins all of Lebanon, Indiana

She was preceded in death by her son Donald Bennett.

Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. on Sunday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Dishman Cemetery.
